Refund Policy

This policy explains when Mentionwell issues refunds. Read it together with our Terms of Service before subscribing.

1. Summary

We offer a 14-day refund on new subscription charges. Consumed add-on credits are non-refundable. Below are the details and how to ask for one.

2. Subscription refunds (14-day window)

If you subscribe to a paid plan and decide it's not for you, email hello@mentionwell.com within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund the most recent subscription payment in full. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

The 14-day window applies only to the first charge in any new subscription period (initial signup or a renewal you didn't intend). It does not stack: requesting a refund cancels the subscription immediately and you lose access to paid features at the end of the current billing period.

3. Add-on credits are non-refundable

Boost packs and extra prompt-runs are recurring subscription add-ons. Add-on charges are non-refundable once purchased, including any portion already consumed. You can cancel an add-on renewal at any time from the billing portal and keep the active-period credits through the end of that billing period.

4. Annual plans

Annual subscriptions are eligible for the same 14-day refund window from the date of the annual charge. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term, but you can cancel renewal at any time from the billing portal — you keep access through the end of the paid term.

5. How to request a refund

  • Email hello@mentionwell.com from the address on your account.
  • Include the charge date and the last 4 digits of the card or PayPal email used.
  • We'll confirm the refund within two business days and process it to the original payment method.

6. Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refunds for accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy, that have been suspended or terminated for cause, or that show patterns of abuse (e.g. repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles to use paid features without paying).

Where local consumer protection law grants you stronger refund rights than this policy, those rights apply.
