Connect Shopify with a custom app and write_content scope. Mentionwell pushes posts into the /blogs/{id}/articles endpoint, with featured images, tags, and meta — your storefront theme renders them with whatever blog template you already use.
How it works
- Install the Mentionwell custom app in your Shopify Admin.
- Pick the blog (most stores have one — “News”). Mentionwell creates new ones if needed.
- Map tags + categories to Mentionwell content clusters.
- Set a publish cadence. The Auto Agent ships on the days/UTC hours you choose.
What gets written into Shopify
- Title, handle (slug), HTML body, excerpt.
- Featured image (uploaded to Files; alt text included).
- Tags + blog assignment.
- SEO title + meta description (theme-dependent).
- Author (the Mentionwell-mapped user; configurable per push).
