Coming soon. Approve Mentionwell in Webflow, pick your Blog collection, and every new article is created and published as a collection item with rich-text body, main image, slug and meta — rendered by the template you've already designed.

How it works

Click “Publish to Webflow” on Mentionwell’s Connect page and approve access in Webflow.
Pick your collection. Mentionwell lists your sites’ collections and suggests a field mapping (body, summary, main image, meta, date) you can adjust.
Send a test post (optional). It lands as an unpublished draft so you can check formatting.
Publish. Every article is created, then published live; edits update the same item, unpublishing takes it off the live site, deleting removes it.

What gets written into Webflow

Name (article title) + slug.
Post body as Rich Text (headings, paragraphs, lists, links, images; video embeds become links).
Summary / excerpt for the listing page.
Main and thumbnail image (copied onto Webflow’s CDN, alt text included).
Meta title, meta description, published date, author, tags, category and JSON-LD — when your collection has matching fields.

Webflow design teams ship beautiful sites and then struggle to keep the blog moving. Mentionwell is the missing back office: it tells you which prompts you’re losing across answer engines, drafts the article that closes the gap, and pushes it into Webflow without anyone touching the Designer.

Questions

Is Webflow publishing available now?

Not yet. One-click Webflow publishing is built and in review with Webflow. Until then, reach Webflow through the signed publish webhook or the Reader API.

Which Webflow API does Mentionwell use?

The Webflow Data API v2, through an OAuth app you approve (scopes: CMS read/write and Sites read). No API tokens to copy.

Do I need a CMS Collection set up?

Yes — any Blog Posts collection with a Rich Text body field works (Webflow’s default blog template is recognised automatically). Mentionwell suggests a mapping for summary, main image, meta title/description and date, and you can change it.

Can I keep designing in Webflow?

Yes. Mentionwell only writes collection items. Your templates, design system and interactions are untouched.

What about images?

The hero image is sent to your image fields and Webflow copies it onto its own CDN.

Can I check it before real articles go out?

Yes. “Send a test post” creates an unpublished draft item so you can check formatting, then remove it with one click.
