# Mentionwell GEO Scan-to-Draft Platform

> Scan answer engines, extract citation evidence, and optionally use that GEO context when creating articles.

Mentionwell gives every onboarded site a GEO layer. It can run buyer-intent prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Grok, Exa, DeepSeek, and Microsoft Copilot. It captures answers, fan-out queries, cited URLs, owned / competitor / third-party citation classification, brand share-of-voice, locale performance, and topic-cluster performance.

## What the GEO scan captures

- Buyer-intent prompt corpus generated from the site profile, audience, value props, and competitors.
- Fan-out queries the answer engines searched internally.
- Citations with URL, domain, title, snippet, source type, position, and citation kind.
- Cited-page evidence: markdown, HTML schema types, word count, headings, statistics, byline, summary, and extracted claims.
- Brand and competitor mentions across engines, prompts, topic clusters, and locales.
- A compact article-generation context for the writer.

## Optional article injection

When creating an article, operators can use a normal draft or choose **Run + GEO**. GEO context is optional and per-article. When enabled, Mentionwell can feed observed prompts, fan-out queries, cited-page claims, competitor gaps, statistics, source-backed evidence, schema patterns, and regional performance into synthesis, outline, draft, metadata, and FAQ generation.

This is useful for comparison posts, alternatives pages, best-tools articles, and articles targeting prompts where competitors currently win citations. It can be skipped for articles where GEO data is not useful.
